Indian Institute of Technology, Indore - IIT Indore was established in academic year 2009-10. IIT Indore is an autonomous engineering and technology institute of higher education.

IIT Indore offers a 4-year B. Tech. programme in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. programmes in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical and Mechanical), Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics), and Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics, English and Philosophy). IIT Indore has well equipped Computer lab with wide intranet supporting these networked PCs. The hardware supporting the intranet includes two switches and five IBM Servers having 32 GB RAM and 500 GB Hard disk, well stocked Library with ooks are on various disciplines ranging from Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, and Philosophy. The collection for Post Graduate programmes is also being developed simultaneously.
