Alagappa University - Directorate of Distance Education was established in the year 1992. The Directorate offers Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes in the disciplines of Management, Computer Applications, Science, Education and Languages.
Alagappa University Distance Education offers various innovative, job-oriented and socially relevant 57 academic programmes in the field of Arts, Science, Information Technology, Education and Management. It has an excellent network of more than 206 Study Centres for providing effective service to the student community.
Alagappa University Distance Education programmes are also offered in South-East Asian countries such as Singapore and Malaysia; and in Middle-East countries, viz., Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai; and at Sri Lanka. The programmes are well received in India and abroad.
